Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness that we share with you news of the passing of our dear friend, partner and mentor, Mr. Douglas Murray on June 30th, after a difficult illness.
Douglas’ charm, strength and talents left a deep impression on all of those who were fortunate enough to walk, at times, beside him on his life’s path. It was his determination and passion for producing high quality Chilean wines that helped give birth to Montes Winery. Douglas’ efforts toward expanding the horizons for Chilean wines will always be remembered as an integral part of the Montes’ success story.
He will be deeply missed by everyone at Montes Winery, his friends, colleagues and family. We thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.
